We don't do ads.
We do alignment.
If you're trying to reach independent travellers who actually read before they book — we might be a fit.
Who's reading this.
Independent travellers who plan their own trips.
The kind who reads three sources before booking a flight. The kind who skips Dubrovnik in August on principle. The kind who'd rather spend two weeks understanding one country than ten days seeing five.
They're educated, multilingual, allergic to pop-ups, and they pay for content that respects their time. They don't want a top-10 list. They want context.
That's who we write for. That's who reads us.
What we offer.
Five doors. Pick the one that sounds like you.

Editorial approach.
A few rules. Non-negotiable. Hover any card.
No exceptions. Readers see the disclosure before we publish a single word.
If we recommend somewhere, it's because we'd send a friend there. Not because of the commission.
If the place doesn't deliver, we say so politely. Or we don't write about it. Your call.
You can review for accuracy. You can't rewrite our voice.
Negotiate the article before publishing. Not after.
We'd rather disappoint you now.

You expect guaranteed coverage.REJECTED
No. We promise editorial honesty, not a bought feature. If we don't think the place delivers, we won't pretend otherwise — that's the whole reason readers trust us.
You want dofollow links "just because".NOPE
A dofollow link is a promise to Google that this site is worth visiting. We make that promise based on the content, not the contract. If your site fits the editorial line, the link is dofollow. If it doesn't, the link doesn't exist.
You measure value in impressions only.PASS
Impressions tell you how many people saw something. They don't tell you who. Our readers are few, deliberate, and high-intent. If "lots of eyeballs" is your only metric, there are cheaper places for that.
You haven't read the site.READ IT
If your pitch starts with "Dear sir/madam, I see you cover travel content," we already know how this conversation ends. Read three articles. Tell us what you actually liked. Then write.
You sell timeshares, crypto, or anything that needs an FAQ to explain why it isn't a scam.HARD NO
Two industries with one thing in common: they pay well, and we'd rather not. If your business model needs an entire FAQ to explain why it isn't a scam — it's a no.
Big cities don't need our help.
Small places do.
We exist to give voice to every corner of the Balkans — from the capitals to the smallest village nobody writes about.
That doesn't mean we rule out the chain hotel in Dubrovnik or the resort in Budva. It means we're as interested in the konoba in Trebinje as in either of them — provided everyone meets the same editorial line. Size doesn't decide. Quality does.
If that's you — we want to talk.
How it works.
Three steps. No surprises.
You tell us what you do.
And why it matters. Be specific. Boilerplate goes to spam.
If it aligns, we reply.
If it doesn't, we don't force it. Most replies within five working days.
We make something that holds up.
Not something that sells fast. The work outlives the campaign.
Tell us about it.
Be specific. We read every message. We reply to what's worth replying to.
Things partners
ask us.
Most questions have short answers. Here are the short answers.
Q · 01 Do you accept sponsored content?
Yes — if it fits the editorial line. And always labelled. The label is not optional.
Q · 02 Do you do "link exchanges"?
No. A link exchange is that deal where your site links to mine, mine links to yours, and neither piece of writing has any editorial reason to. It's SEO dressed up as collaboration. Google chases it. So do we.
Q · 03 What's your media kit?
We don't have one. Generic media kits are pretty folders full of numbers that don't answer your actual question. Tell us what you need and we'll send that.
Q · 04 Do you charge for partnerships?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on the format and the fit. What never changes: we tell you before we start, not after.
Q · 05 Can you write only positive things?
No. What we can do: not write at all. What we won't do: pretend.
Q · 06 Discounts for non-profits or tiny operators?
Yes, almost always. Send us something concrete — not "we want visibility" — and we'll work it out.
The founder.
Sanela Muminovic Balic.
We don't write travel content. We write about places the way we'd talk about them at a kitchen table — slowly, specifically, with the coffee and the disagreement.
In two languages that mostly don't translate each other, for readers who'd rather understand one country than skim five. We say what we'd say to a friend before they booked. We say it again after they came back.
Bosnian and Spanish. Twenty years of each. Currently between France and Switzerland. Always on her way back to the Balkans.
